David Gay - National Manager, Trust Accounting. As National Manager for Trust Accounting, I oversee the operation of all the Agentplus customer trust accounts. This includes the day to day processing of all receipts and payments, compliance and the reconciliation of these accounts. I am also responsible for the staff in the Trust Accounting department. At times I am also called upon to assist with software design and development and ensure compliance within the software. What do you think is the best thing about Agentplus Service? It’s a complete, "out of the box" solution – I found a lot of agencies in my previous role don't necessarily want the hassle of trust accounting, they just want to get on with the relationship management side of their business. Thats where we can fit in and provide this service. If you were a city or a country, where would that be, and why? New York – its big, loud and always changing!! If you could have one "super" ability, what would it be? Self-cloning – the ability to be in several places at once. Who would you like to be stuck on a tropical island with? Tough question... my dog, because he’s mans best friend, is good company and looks up to me no matter what. Alternatively, the bartender from the Love Boat – what that guy couldn’t do with a pineapple just can’t be done! If you could only listen to one musician or album for the rest of your life, who would that be? That is a choice I couldn’t make, music is pretty important to me ….. one album or artist just wouldn’t cut it. Saying that, it wouldn’t be Celine Dion! Which celebrity are you most similar to? Nigella Lawson …..
